Clip News VP of Media Intelligence, Ms. Katerina Kechagia, visited the Communication & Digital Media Department of the Western Macedonia University on April 23, 2024, to give a speech to the department’s students, as future professionals in the Communication field.

The lecture was part of the course “Media Organization and Policy” in collaboration with the lecturer Dr. Theodora Saridou. Ms. Kechagia focused on the importance of Media Monitoring and Media Analysis services for the PR and Communication sector, and explained what is the actual use and value of publicity data. Emphasis was also placed on the necessity of combining Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies with the interpretation of media data by specialized analysts.

As Ms. Kechagia highlighted, the aim of these services is to provide timely and accurate information to subscribers about their media presence, as well as to identify trends and insights that will assist PR and Communication professionals in developing a data-driven strategy. At the end of the session, students had the opportunity to ask questions, resolve any doubts, and delve deeper into the subject.   media intelligence_2
